We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Selvazul, enjoying the stunning views of the lake from our private porch and the spacious room with ample storage. The staff, including volunteers, went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Oscar quickly resolved a window issue, Keith's yoga lesson was fantastic, and Megane was incredibly helpful throughout our time at the hotel. The artistic design of the hillside casitas, nestled in the jungle, created a unique and inspiring atmosphere. The surroundings were priceless, with the beautiful and peaceful 23,000-year-old crater lake right at our doorstep. The accurate pictures truly showcased the location and accommodations. The hotel breakfast was extraordinary, and having a beach on the lake was a wonderful bonus. We can't wait to return!
We would recommend this hotel.

The bungalows with private pools were a beautiful upgrade for us as vegetarians and vegans. the clear water of the lake was amazing, and the surroundings were pretty. the breakfast offered pancakes, eggs, gallo pinto, and even fruit salad on one day. the on-site restaurant was affordable and delicious, with cheap drinks available.
Felt like relaxing at home, no complaints.

The location of the hotel was amazing, with breathtaking views of the lake. We enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings and the fresh breeze off the water. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any needs or requests.
There were several negative aspects to our stay. The hotel was in desperate need of maintenance and repairs, with many parts of the building falling apart.

We were delighted with the beautiful view of the lake from our spacious and basic room. The highlight was the large wooden balcony equipped with a table, chairs, and a hammock, which my granddaughter absolutely loved. It provided a unique experience where we could relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. Despite a minor inconvenience of noisy neighbors one night, the staff was helpful and ensured that we could get a good night's sleep. I highly recommend this hotel for its breathtaking views and relaxing atmosphere.
